Gaining planning consent for this new build block of apartments was particularly challenging. The long, thin undeveloped site was adjacent to a railway line and viewable from a long distance away. We succeeded in winning consent for 39 units at planning appeal. Creating a nature conservation park for neighbouring residents was part of the S106 offer. The development by Taylor Wimpey was completed in 2013.
