
One Carrington Street
My role on this project was to assemble and direct the team and to conceive the best development outcome. This included advising on the land assembly and the development envelope. The project comprises the 0.31 ha site of the former NCP car park at Carrington Street, 51-53 Brick Street & 1-6 Yarmouth Place in Mayfair, London W1. Creating a new public thoroughfare between Curzon Street and Piccadilly was a significant urban and civic benefit.
The development comprises Grade A office space, 28 apartments, ranging from one-bedroom to four-bedroom homes. Amenities include a gym, spa, 25m pool, art gallery, retail and restaurant space.
The development includes a business and wellness space run by Robin Birley.
The new street between the residential and office blocks is activated by a series of entrances into the retail unit and residential lobby on one side and the office lobby and art gallery entrance to the other, while the active street frontage benefits building users and the wider area.
