Project Description
A new 26-storey cylindrical landmark hotel within the South Shoreditch Conservation Area, where Old Street meets Great Eastern Street. The building was developed for PPHE Hotel Group and the Reuben Brothers, with CoyEagle advising on the project.
The tower comprises 357 guest rooms, including 48 luxury suites, with city views maximised in all directions. The programme is unusually diverse: a public art gallery open to the street, a 60-seat screening room, a spa and pool, five floors of co-workspace, and three levels of shared spaces incorporating a restaurant and gym. The Brush Grand Café, with its lounge and cocktail bar, anchors the public ground-floor offer.
The cylindrical form navigates the sensitive conservation context with confidence — its smooth geometry and considered materiality responding to the historic grain of the surrounding streetscape whilst establishing a genuinely new and distinctive presence on one of East London's most visible corners.
